Focusing on the advancement of public education in Pará and the pursuit of better results in external assessments such as the Basic Education Assessment System (Saeb) 2025 and the National High School Exam (Enem), the State Department of Education (Seduc) is promoting the "Caravana Saeb 2025". The initiative is a training directed at the leaders of the Regional Education Directorates (DREs) and the management teams of state schools, emphasizing the improvement of students' academic performance.

After traveling through several municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB) and the interior of the state, the caravan arrived at the DREs of the capital of Pará this Thursday (29), gathering more than 200 educators in the Seduc auditorium in Belém.

"The caravan has arrived at the DREs of Belém. We are here with DREs 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10. And the feeling is the same: to contribute, to listen to the leaders who manage our schools here in the capital, to hear the strategies so they can be added and multiplied to other school units. The focus is on engagement, on permanent awareness, on didactic-methodological strategies, on the use of teaching materials, and on the active participation of teachers in the training. We need to look at our approval rate, as no student should be left behind. This is the moment for us to collectively build actions that will lead Pará to continue growing in large-scale assessments, especially in Saeb," highlighted the Deputy Secretary of Basic Education of Seduc, Júlio Meireles.

The "Caravana Saeb 2025" is based on active listening, dialogue, and reflection. From the analysis of the educational indicators of the network and the schools, the training identifies the specific needs of each territory, promoting improvement strategies in the learning process. The action also reinforces the State Government's commitment to the quality of public education, providing tools and training so that school leaders can ensure effective and transformative education for all students in the state network.

"We have already passed through the Salgado region, Bragança, Capanema, Castanhal, Santa Isabel, Abaetetuba, Marabá, Parauapebas, western Pará — Santarém, Óbidos, Monte Alegre —, yesterday was Ananindeua, today Belém, and we will return on June 10 to conclude Belém. After that, we will go to Mãe do Rio, Capitão Poço, Cametá and, before the holidays, we should also pass through Benevides and Altamira," informed Júlio Meireles.

For the director of the State School Nossa Senhora das Graças, Aparecida Garcia, the caravan represents a moment of renewal and inspiration for school management. "I don't even have adjectives to qualify the caravan. I am enchanted, I didn't even see the time pass. Secretary Júlio spoke of extremely important things for the role of the manager. This mobilization makes a difference in the daily life of schools because it leaves us enthusiastic. I am sure that everyone leaves here wanting to 'roll up their sleeves' and seek advancement in Saeb, which is our main focus," evaluated the manager.

The director of the State School Monte Serrat, Jeane Castro, reinforced the importance of training to motivate school teams. "The Caravana Saeb is very important to motivate not only the management but also the pedagogical team. So that we can bring this experience to our school and achieve our goals in Saeb. Our school has been preparing since the beginning of the year, with simulations, activity books, Prepara material. We are encouraging our students daily. Today we have 191 students in the school and two 5th-grade classes that will participate in Saeb," she reported.

The "Caravana Saeb 2025" continues its journey through the state with the purpose of creating a collective, engaged, and consistent movement in favor of an increasingly strong, equitable, and transformative public education in Pará.
