Seduc promotes 'Caravana Saeb 2025' for state network managers in Ananindeua
Focusing on the advancement of public education, the action brought together more than 200 managers and leaders from the DREs of Ananindeua to enhance school management and prepare the network for Saeb 2025

To enhance the quality of teaching in state schools and further boost public education in Pará, the State Department of Education (Seduc) has been promoting the "Caravana Saeb 2025". The action consists of training aimed at the leadership of the Regional Education Directorates (DREs) and the management teams of state schools, focusing on preparation for the Basic Education Assessment System (Saeb) 2025, aiming to improve the academic performance of students.

This time, the caravan reached the DREs of Ananindeua, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB), and gathered more than 200 educators in the Seduc auditorium in the capital on Wednesday (28).
“One of the strongest things that led Pará to achieve a historic result in education was mobilization, and mobilization only happens in one way: with leadership. That’s why it’s great to see the managers here together, leading the processes. If we have already succeeded and have a chance to grow again and meet all the goals, it’s in the leadership of management, of the director, of the school team. We have mapped our problems. We only solve the problem when we see it, and more and more, we have tools that allow us to see which of our students are struggling, what the individualized situation of each one is. That’s why this mobilization is so important,” highlighted the Secretary of Education of Pará, Rossieli Soares.

The “Caravana Saeb 2025” promotes a work of active listening, dialogue, and reflection based on the analysis of the educational indicators of the network and the schools. The goal is to identify the specificities of each territory and implement strategies that contribute to the learning process. The initiative reinforces the State Government's commitment to quality public education, offering tools and training so that school leaders are prepared to face the challenges of the state network.

According to the Deputy Secretary of Basic Education of Seduc, Júlio Meireles, the action is fundamental as it allows for the exchange of experiences and the joint facing of difficulties. “The challenge of each management team is similar. By listening to and sharing successful experiences, we can adapt solutions to each reality and minimize their own challenges. I thank each director and vice-director who shares this moment, which I believe is of great value. We are here to listen, learn, and contribute with any idea that can improve what is already being done,” he pointed out.
For the head of the Regional Education Directorate (DRE) Ananindeua 4, Jackson Pinheiro, the caravan plays a strategic role in providing direction to educational public policies. “Today we have the possibility of making public policies aimed at education increasingly accurate. Before we had, of course, a very broad path, and today we are starting to have direction. So, the Caravana Saeb, which has been happening throughout the state, gives us the necessary guidance on where we are, where we want to go, and how we can get there. In addition, of course, to sharing successful practices,” he stated.

The director of the State School Jornalista Rômulo Maiorana, Claudiane Batista, highlighted that the mobilization represents a new moment for education in the state. “For us, it is a unique moment because we have never had this. I think that, from everything we have talked about and seen, yesterday a statement from the governor was essential: ‘to look at education in a differentiated way,’ and we perceive that. Some time ago, we even refrained from talking about Saeb, and this has really made a difference. So, the Caravana Saeb allows us to take experiences from other schools – I have even noted a lot of things here during this time. In 2023 we managed to achieve an incredible percentage, and now it’s about maintaining that percentage,” she concluded.
