Ananindeua Industrial District receives paving and road maintenance works
Interventions aim to improve circulation, attract new investments, and strengthen the regional economy

The Government of Pará, through the Pará Economic Development Company (Codec), has resumed the paving and road maintenance works in the Ananindeua Industrial District, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém. The initiative is part of the 2024/2025 Multi-Year Plan (PPA) and aims to modernize the district's infrastructure, strengthen the local economy, and attract new investments.
With an investment of R$ 2.8 million, the services include paving of internal roads, pothole repairs, brush cutting, cleaning, and curb painting. The actions will ensure better traffic conditions, more safety, and greater efficiency in the logistics of moving goods, directly benefiting the companies already established and enabling future operations in the area.

Currently, the Ananindeua Industrial District occupies an area of 457.48 hectares and houses 67 active companies. There are still 2.12 hectares (21,200 m²) available for sale, offering opportunities for new ventures and business expansion.
"Codec has been working to improve the infrastructure of the industrial areas of the state, such as the Ananindeua Industrial District, meeting the demands of entrepreneurs and workers, facilitating the transport of products and people. Ananindeua is of great importance to the state's economy, and this intervention reinforces the State Government's commitment to improving the business environment in order to attract more enterprises to the region," highlighted Pádua Rodrigues, Director of Strategy and Institutional Relations at Codec.

In addition to improving the operational conditions of companies, the requalification of the district contributes to reducing logistics costs, enhancing territorial value, and strengthening the business environment.
Attentive to the progress of the works, Antônio Macedo, a representative of a company located in the Ananindeua Industrial District, expressed his satisfaction and contentment with the infrastructure services. "CODEC has met our request and is doing a good job," emphasized the businessman.

The first phase of the works will be completed this week, with the application of 175 tons of asphalt. The next phases will follow the execution schedule, with completion expected in the second half of this year.
With the completion of the works, the Ananindeua Industrial District will have better urban and road infrastructure, favoring the mobility of its users and implementing job creation, strengthening the economy and development of the region.
