State conducts over 4,000 services in the action 'Assistance throughout Pará' in Castanhal
The action lasted five days in the municipality, resulting in 4,415 services.
The State Government, through the State Secretariat of Social Assistance, Labor, Employment and Income (Seaster), held the closing of the action "Assistance throughout Pará" in Castanhal, in northeastern Pará, on Friday (23), with various certifications, delivery of cards for artisans, issuance of documents, in addition to other benefits. All stemming from the action that lasted five days in the municipality, resulting in 4,415 services.
In the area of work, the action included qualifications, referral of eligible individuals for available job vacancies, registration in the National Employment System (Sine), issuance of digital work cards, consultation to PIS, and the First Job program, which enables young people to enter the job market, also including a qualification course that integrates practice and improvement.
"I am not working, but I am already in the process with two companies to get my first job. And this project is very important because this way, I managed to get my first job, as it is difficult to achieve. The project is very good because it provides many opportunities for those who have never worked," said Luane Pinheiro.
In partnership with the Civil Police of Pará (PCPA), the issuance of General Registry (RG), birth, marriage, and death certificates was guaranteed, totaling over 670 services.
On the occasion, various courses were offered, including food handling, composting, and healthy recipe practices. Nutritional monitoring was also provided, with specific guidance for each user.
"This action in Castanhal was our third edition, with a very significant number of services, and this is our goal, to bring services and assistance to everyone, enabling job creation, income, and more dignity. We concluded the 'Assistance throughout Pará' in Castanhal with a satisfactory result, delivering and returning results to the population. We also thank the partnership with the city hall of Castanhal, which supported the initiative from the very beginning," said Inocencio Gasparim, head of Seaster.
The training for operators of the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS) certified about 65 municipal managers.
"The training of technicians, managers, and assistance counselors is important for strengthening the policy, improving the performance of these technicians in their daily work, strengthening the service so that assistance reaches where it needs to go, to those who need it most. Here in Castanhal, we are certifying technicians from the Guamá region in courses with topics directed at protections, basic social protection, special social protection of high and medium complexity, and SUAS management, which includes social assistance surveillance and labor management. So we understand that the state government is delivering to the municipalities, trained technicians with competencies to better manage social assistance," emphasized Léa Oliveira, management coordinator of the social assistance directorate.
42 kits with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) were also delivered to collectors from the municipalities of Castanhal and Igarapé Açu.
Local companies, partners of the action, CTC, Flamboyant, and Mercúrio foods, which provided vacancies for the "Job Fair," received the citizen company certificate. This recognizes their promptness in offering new opportunities to the population.
A technical cooperation agreement was also signed by Seaster, aiming at the integrated management of the work, employment, and income policy among the federal, state governments, and the city hall of Castanhal.
The closing act was attended by the mayor of Castanhal, Hélio Leite, and the municipal secretary of social assistance, Sidneya Leite.
The next municipality to receive the action will be Belém, the state capital. All information will be disclosed in advance on Seaster's official channels.
