The Civil Police of Pará launched, on the morning of this Wednesday, the 22nd, the operation 'State Wall', to execute 300 court orders for arrest and search and seizure throughout the state of Pará.
So far, 223 arrests have been made, with 189 in compliance with arrest warrants and 34 in the act, in addition to 184 search and seizure warrants throughout Pará, for crimes such as drug trafficking, robbery, criminal association, rape, and other crimes.

The governor of the State, Helder Barbalho, highlighted that this has become a historic day in Pará in the fight against crime. “The Civil Police of the State, in an integrated manner with all the superintendencies and police stations in Pará, carried out the largest operation in the history of the Civil Police in the state's public security system. We are talking about an operation with a total of over 350 court orders, which, up to this moment, brings us an extremely important result in confronting crime in Pará. The number of people arrested, weapons and drugs seized demonstrates that the correct strategy was used to weaken and combat crime in our State,” he pointed out.
In addition to state arrests, two leaders of a criminal faction were also arrested in the states of Brasília and Manaus, along with two more arrests in Curitiba.

“It took approximately 30 days of investigations and requests for arrest and search and seizure warrants to be executed today. The operation involved the participation of all operational directorates of the Civil Police, as well as the involvement of regional superintendencies throughout the state. The regional intelligence units, along with our central nucleus, gathered the largest possible volume of information and located addresses linked to drug trafficking. The main objective is to find and arrest traffickers and individuals linked to criminal factions, who are also targets of arrest warrants,” emphasized the general delegate Benassully.

Approximately 1,200 civil police officers were part of the operation that took place through the Metropolitan Police Directorates (DPM), Interior Police (DPI), Specialized Police (DPE), Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (DAV), State Cybercrime Combat (DECCC), Police Intelligence Nucleus (NIP), and the Coordination of Operations and Special Resources (Core).

For the deputy general delegate, Temmer Khayat, the operation is the result of intense integrated investigative work. “This is one of several actions articulated through investigations and intelligence work that the Civil Police of the State of Pará has been developing in the fight against crime and criminal organizations. It is also the result of a continuous investigative effort carried out by the Civil Police Stations throughout the State of Pará,” he stated.

The operation continues to be carried out throughout the state to fulfill all court orders. So far, 23 kg of drugs, 8 weapons, ammunition, cell phones, bank cards, paraphernalia for packaging drugs, precision scales among other items have been seized, resulting in the arrest in the act of those involved.

“First of all, we congratulate the work of the Civil Police that has already resulted in over 200 arrests related to various crimes in Pará. This operation demonstrates, once again, the presence of the state and the strong work carried out by the security forces that have been ensuring the repression of crimes and the dismantling of criminal groups that try to maintain these practices in Pará. We emphasize that we will continue to invest in the qualification of agents and in investigative work, to prevent crimes, but also to identify, arrest, and dismantle criminal groups in our state, ensuring the safety and peace of the people of Pará,” stated the head of the Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), Ualame Machado.
