HRPC Polyclinic performs over 5,000 hemodialysis sessions in the first four months of 2025
The hemodialysis service at the HRPC Polyclinic has established itself as a reference in the northeastern region of Pará
From January to April of this year, the Polyclinic of the Regional Public Hospital of Caetés (HRPC), in Capanema, performed a total of 5,072 hemodialysis sessions. In the health unit, the sector has 24 machines in the hemodialysis room and operates with almost four shifts daily, serving an average of 103 users from 16 municipalities in the region.
In this context, the hemodialysis service at the HRPC Polyclinic has established itself as a reference in the northeastern region of Pará. For the unit coordinator, Tharciso Souza, the volume of care reinforces the importance of the work being done. "The volume of sessions performed in this first four-month period demonstrates how essential our service has been for the population of the region. With an average of almost 1,270 sessions per month, we have managed to maintain the regularity of care thanks to the dedication of the multiprofessional team and the structure we have at the Polyclinic. We remain committed to providing safe, humanized, and quality care to all our users."
The quality of care is also perceived by the patients. "I am very well taken care of here. I have been doing hemodialysis at HRPC for a year and a half, and I thank God and the team for the care I always receive," said José da Cruz Silva, 75, a resident of Capanema.
