Capacita COP 30 Program opens vacancies for women entrepreneurs
New courses will be offered by the Capacita COP30 Program, from the Government of Pará, in conjunction with Impulsiona Cielo Amazônia

Focusing on women entrepreneurs and those working in commerce, primarily black and indigenous, the Government of Pará has opened new classes for English, Financial Management, and Digital Entrepreneurship courses offered by the Capacita COP30 Program. Registration began this Thursday (22) and is done exclusively through the website capacitacop30.pa.gov.br. The courses are managed by the Secretary of Science, Technology, Higher Education, Professional and Technological Education (Sectet) in partnership with Cielo, through Impulsiona Cielo - Amazônia.

The Capacita COP30 Program has already achieved over 22,000 certifications in free qualification and professional training courses in the areas of tourism, gastronomy, infrastructure, and security. By offering vacancies for entrepreneurs and workers in commerce, the program also becomes a state initiative, with partner institutions, to strengthen small businesses. "Empowering women and entrepreneurs is preparing Pará for a fairer and more inclusive development. We are looking at COP 30 with responsibility, but, above all, with social commitment. These women will be protagonists of the local economy before, during, and after the event," highlighted the head of Sectet, Victor Dias.
The Capacita COP30 Program from the Government of Pará, in conjunction with Impulsiona Cielo Amazônia aims to consolidate businesses in the Tourism, Hospitality, and Services sectors of Pará. "We are very happy to join the Government of the State of Pará to promote Impulsiona Cielo - Amazônia in the Capacita COP30 program. We believe that empowering local women entrepreneurs and fostering the regional economy are essential to create a lasting legacy of sustainable and inclusive development," said Angélica Campos, leader of People, Management, and Performance at Cielo. "Our mission is to support these individuals in building resilient and prosperous businesses, positively impacting the local economy and promoting gender and racial equality," she added.

On the last 12th, the Government of Pará held a certification ceremony in Belém for two thousand people who completed courses offered by the Capacita COP30 Program. On that occasion, the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, announced that the State is working on creating a platform to connect people with certificates to companies interested in hiring this specialized workforce. This technology will be a kind of resume bank where those who qualified through the Capacita COP30 Program can register and be selected for a position in tourism, hospitality, services, and gastronomy companies.
