Initial result of the 2025 Juninas Quadrilhas Public Notice released

The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) published in this Friday's (16) edition of the Official State Gazette the initial result of the qualification phase of the 2025 Juninas Quadrilhas Public Notice. Groups that are not qualified have a period of two business days to appeal the decision, through a specific form as indicated in the public notice and available on the FCP website.
Through the public notice, groups are selected to compete during the XXI State Competition of Juninas Quadrilhas, an event organized by the Government of Pará, through the Cultural Foundation of the State of Pará.
"The competition of juninas quadrilhas, just like the public notice for festivities, is another action of the State Government, through the Cultural Foundation of Pará, aimed at promoting and democratizing access to resources for the promotion of artistic and cultural goods and services, and emerges as a strategy for valuing and increasing the visibility of production in the scope of Popular Culture of Pará," defines the president of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, Thiago Miranda.
This year, the total prize for the competition amounts to approximately 570 thousand reais. The cash prizes are distributed among juninas quadrilhas, misses, markers, stylists, and choreographers, in the adult and children's categories that achieve the highest scores, as described in Public Notice 006/2025. All quadrilhas registered in the State Competition of Juninas Quadrilhas will receive a certificate of participation in the event.
PRESENTATION – The draw that will define the order of presentations of the quadrilhas and juninas misses will be held in a hybrid format, on the next May 23, at 10 am, at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, in Belém. Each quadrilha may send a representative to accompany the process.
The registered quadrilhas may exchange dates and times determined in the draw among themselves, provided that the arrangement is communicated to the competition coordination within 48 hours from the date of the draw.
The presentations of the XXI State Competition of Juninas Quadrilhas will take place between June 13 and 27. The results will be announced on June 28 and the awards on June 29.
