The State Government held, this Tuesday (12), the delivery of new prescription glasses to people served through the "Por Todas Elas" program. A total of 1,245 new glasses were provided free of charge, ensuring more health and quality of life for the population.
The delivery of the glasses is the result of ophthalmological care provided on March 28, during the state program's action held at the Usina da Paz in the Cabanagem neighborhood, in Belém. The new vision equipment will benefit women in situations of social vulnerability, as well as the elderly and children.

Housewife Bárbara Carvalho attended the Usina da Paz to pick up her new glasses and those of her daughter. A glaucoma patient, she reported that without her glasses, she was having many difficulties with her vision. "This is a very important moment for me, and I thank the Government very much for the support it has given within the communities. We had the consultations in Women's Month (March), and now we are receiving the glasses in Mother's Month, so I thank you for this gift that will help a lot to improve our vision," said Bárbara.

Another mother benefited by the action was Gracimar Araújo, who received new glasses for her children, Ricardo and Ian Gabriel. "These new glasses will help us a lot because the children were having many difficulties in school, to see the board properly. We had been using 'old' glasses for a year, and now we managed to change them. We were very well attended, and now everything will be fine!" celebrated the Cabanagem neighborhood resident with her children.
Por Todas Elas - Created in 2024 and idealized by the Vice Governor of Pará, Hana Ghassan, the state program aims to encourage discussions about the importance of women's participation and protagonism in politics, focusing on building rights for women.
The program's itinerant actions have already traveled through several municipalities in Pará, providing over 30 free services in citizenship, leisure, and health, such as ophthalmological consultations and the free production of prescription glasses.

"The delivery of these glasses represents care for visual health, but it also symbolizes dignity, inclusion, and respect for each person we serve here. The Por Todas Elas program was born with the purpose of transforming lives, and actions like this show, in practice, that we are on the right track," emphasized the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.
