General Hospital of Tailândia (HGT) provides music and self-care for users
The initiative was the way found by the hospital to honor Mother's Day

The General Hospital of Tailândia (HGT), through the Humanization Working Group (GTH), held a series of activities in honor of Mother's Day, celebrated last Sunday (11). The program took place throughout the week leading up to the date, aiming to provide moments of care and support to the users and collaborators of the unit.
The actions began with a music therapy activity led by volunteer singer Mille Rocha. The artist toured all sectors of the hospital, singing songs related to the celebration of Mother's Day.

One of the highlights of the action was the stop at the Obstetric Clinic and the Normal Delivery Center (CPN), where mothers who had recently given birth were hospitalized. In these locations, in addition to the musical presentation, cards with themed messages for the date were distributed.
Approval - Among the participants, housewife and mother of four, Iranilde Santos, 42, who was accompanying one of her children in the Emergency Room (PA), said she was moved.

“It is important and beautiful to bring this comfort, because so many mothers wanted to be with their children on this Mother's Day and cannot, as they are hospitalized. This comforts them. So, it is a beautiful action and I was very moved, because what a mother desires most is to be well and to be with those who love her,” reported Iranilde Santos.
The program continued in an outdoor space of the unit, prepared to welcome collaborators and users. At the location, a collective snack was offered and gifts were given to the participants. There were also dynamics focused on well-being. The activities were conducted by physiotherapists partnered with the unit, who guided the participants with relaxation tips and simple exercises.

The action also had the partnership of the group O Boticário, which offered a moment of self-care to the participants. During this moment, guidance on personal care was provided and gifts were distributed.
The coordinator of the GTH of HGT, Luciene Dias, highlighted the importance of actions aimed at mothers in the hospital environment, both for patients and for professionals in the unit.

"The proposal was to create a simple but meaningful moment that valued the presence and role of mothers within our hospital. We thought of activities that would provide support, care, and listening, reinforcing the unit's commitment to the humanization of care," said the coordinator.
Data – HGT is a reference in care in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Only between January and April of this year, the unit performed 481 deliveries and offered 925 consultations with specialists in these areas. In addition, the hospital provides exams, such as mammography, among other services aimed at women's health.
Structure - The General Hospital of Tailândia has 51 beds and maintains an Intermediate Care Unit (UCI) with nine beds, six for adults and three for pediatrics. Users served by the Unified Health System (SUS) have access to the services offered by HGT through the Municipal Regulation Center, and to emergency services on demand or referred by Samu, Military Fire Brigade, and Highway Police.
