PC carries out integrated actions against crime and protection for vulnerable groups in Jurunas
A total of 18 establishments were inspected, focusing on ensuring public order

The Civil Police of Pará launched, on the night of this Friday (9), the operation "Safe Area - Jurunas Phase" in Belém. The objective was to investigate reports related to the practice of criminal offenses, as well as, of course, to ensure preventive measures, focusing on guaranteeing public order and qualified repression of crime.
The action in Jurunas involved the coordinated efforts of various departments of the institution, combining efforts in strategic, tactical, and operational activities. "Operations like this reinforce our commitment to protecting the population and directly confronting organized crime and criminal factions," highlighted Delegate Benassuly, manager of the PCPA.
"The integrated action of the departments strengthens the Civil Police's response capacity, allowing for more effective, humane, and strategic actions aimed at both qualified repression and crime prevention," added Benassuly.

Directorate for Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (DAV) - The DAV conducted incursions and approaches in bars, commercial establishments, and other social spaces, aiming to identify and curb possible situations of rights violations, especially against women, children, adolescents, the elderly, and people in situations of social vulnerability.
Administrative Police Directorate (DPA) - The DPA was responsible for inspections aimed at the regularity of establishments, with an emphasis on verifying operating licenses and other legal requirements for conducting commercial activities, in support of public safety and urban order.
"We inspected 18 establishments, of which 8 were operating irregularly as they had expired licenses, and 1 festive event was closed due to lack of an operating license. In these cases, the owners are notified to appear at the DPA headquarters to regularize the situation," said Delegate Andrezza Franco.

Specialized Police Directorates (DPE) and Metropolitan Police Directorate (DPM) - The two directorates conducted ostensive actions and qualified repression, including verification of open warrants, tactical approaches, and interventions in points considered critical in the neighborhood, mapped from police intelligence data.
"The DPM's action was designed to provide tranquility and safety to people. We checked targets that have links to criminal organizations and went to the addresses to execute the warrants. Many no longer reside in Belém, and others are already deceased. This information will be used to feed the database to provide more accuracy in monitoring. The DPM acted in an integrated manner with the units of the DPE and also with the presence of the director of Interior Police, Delegate Hennison Jacob," explained Delegate Daniel Castro, director of the DPM.

The operation will continue in other neighborhoods of the capital so that the people of Pará feel safer with the police presence on the streets more effectively. Any reports about irregular points can be made through the number 181, via the Disque-Denúncia. The call is free, and anonymity is guaranteed.
"Our main objective is to reinforce the institution's commitment to public safety and the protection of citizens. The integrated action of our directorates allows for a more efficient, technical, and sensitive response to the various demands of the Pará society," concluded the general delegate of the PCPA.
