The Institute for Forest Development and Biodiversity of Pará (Ideflor-Bio), through the Administrative Region Management of Belém (GRB), promoted a lecture on best practices for wildlife observation. The event took place in the auditorium of the Utinga State Park "Camillo Vianna" in Belém and was attended by guests and members of the Institute.

According to the head of GRB, Júlio Meyer, the event highlighted the importance of respecting the animals' space while observing nature. "This is very important for us, as animals like monkeys, sloths, agoutis, and capybaras are constantly being observed in the Utinga Park. And we need these best practices for this observation," he pointed out.

Trail guide Carlito Junior comments that it is necessary to know about the trails that will be traversed to observe the animals. "This is important because it connects us more with nature and makes the experience even more immersive. Knowing where to step and understanding each sound you hear helps us find the animals. Everything in the forest gives us clues, from sounds to smells! Knowing how to read and understand each trail gives us a better chance of finding the animals," he stated.

For ecotourism and trail entrepreneur Ronaldo Teixeira, who was one of the participants in the event, the lecture was important for gaining more knowledge about the animals. "Knowing more about the species in a given area promotes cognitive development opportunities, improving the connection with nature and developing environmental knowledge in a more integrated way," he emphasized.
