State launches program "For All of Them" and expands health services for families in Pará
The initiative complements the actions already developed by the program "For All of Them", strengthening the state policy of comprehensive care and ensuring that more families in Pará have access to specialized care and services.
The government of Pará launched, this Monday (24), the program "For All of Them", expanding the free offer of health and protection services aimed at the male audience. The initiative complements the actions already developed by the program "For All of Them", strengthening the state policy of comprehensive care and ensuring that more families in Pará have access to specialized care and services. The launch event took place at the Usina da Paz in the Bengui neighborhood of Belém and attracted a large audience throughout the morning.
With the new program, the male audience will have access to consultations with general practitioners, cardiologists, and urologists, as well as exams such as electrocardiograms and ultrasounds of the prostate, kidneys, urinary tract, and total abdomen, all performed using a new modern trailer structured for the services.
The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, emphasized that the creation of "For All of Them" represents an important step towards consolidating a more comprehensive public policy in the health sector.
“We are starting another important program of prevention, support, and medical and social assistance for people living in the communities of the Metropolitan Region of Belém and the interior. A new trailer, with all the specialized services for men's health. We aim to bring services closer to the population, so that people no longer need to leave their communities to access medical care. We are starting the program here in Bengui and will continue frequently, alongside 'For All of Them', so that we can reach all of Pará,” declared the governor.
The vice-governor of Pará and creator of the program "For All of Them", Hana Ghassan, reinforced that the new initiative expands care and strengthens disease prevention.
"We are here on another day of action and deliveries for the population. Today, the men's health trailer arrived, which will take care of our men's health with consultations and exams, all in one place. Men's health is very important, and now the program is complete, as we have care aimed at both women and men," she stated.
Expansion of services — During the launch of the program "For All of Them", the population also had access to the services already offered by the program "For All of Them", such as document issuance; medical and dental consultations; mammography, ultrasound, and ophthalmology exams; selection of frames for the production of prescription glasses; rapid tests for disease detection; vaccination; health guidance for women; referrals for specialized consultations and exams; registration for the issuance of the Identification Card for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Ciptea); aesthetic services; cultural attractions; raffles; recreational activities for children; services from the State Public Defender's Office; and health services for pets, among others.
Among the users served, the feeling is one of recognition and relief. Resident Edivaldo Barbosa highlighted the importance of the action to encourage men to seek care and prevent health problems.
“It’s very good because it makes it easier for the people to get care. Many men do not seek medical help, so now we can seek help earlier if we have any problems. I have always worried about my health because it is essential,” said the resident of Bengui.
For the security guard José Cardoso, the program is fundamental to raise awareness among the male audience. “I think this program and this government action are very important, so that all men become aware and seek care. Only with medical follow-up can we prevent something more serious from happening in the future. So, I encourage men to seek doctors. That’s what I promote,” he declared.
Delivery of glasses - In addition to the offer of services and care, the action also ensured the delivery of 1,119 new prescription glasses to people served in the action held on September 9, also at the Usina da Paz in the Bengui neighborhood, as can be seen here.
