Government of Pará delivers housing benefit to families in Marabá
More than 250 families have been benefited. The investment with this delivery exceeds R$ 2.3 million
The Government of Pará, through the Housing Company of Pará (Cohab), delivered on Wednesday (19), checks for the first phase of the housing program "Your House" to 254 families in the city of Marabá, in the Carajás Integration Region. The investment in housing with this delivery exceeds R$ 2.3 million.
The delivery took place during an agenda of Vice Governor Hana Ghassan in the municipality, along with other benefits. "I am very happy to be here in Marabá, this municipality that is very important for the development of our State, bringing opportunities for the population, opportunities for growth in life with the free issuance of more than 1,700 driver's licenses, because there are many young people wanting a place in the job market and this license will help in their project of improving their lives. In addition, we are delivering a very important benefit for housing, which is Your House, which will help improve the housing of many families. We also delivered glasses from the action of Por Todas Elas, so it is a day of great joy, as we are close to the population, bringing benefits to those who need it most," said the vice governor.
The housing benefit Your House assists in the construction and reconstruction of residences. The delivery event also had the presence of the president-director of the Housing Company of the State of Pará (Cohab), Manoel Pioneiro, who highlighted the work carried out by the Company throughout Pará. "It is always very gratifying to be accompanying Governor Helder or Vice Hana in this work that is very important for families that need assistance to have dignified housing," pointed out Pioneiro.
Since it was created in 2019 by the government of Helder Barbalho, the housing program Your House has benefited more than 4,700 families in Marabá with the Your House program, which has as its main objective to guarantee assistance for the acquisition of construction materials and for the payment of workers employed during the construction, reconstruction, and expansion of housing. The amount granted by "Your House" is up to R$ 21,000.
