The new space of the Santa Casa Foundation of Pará aims to strengthen coexistence among the staff and will operate in a special environment in the centennial area, where there is a large jambeiro tree, symbolizing the living nature in the hospital area.

"With approximately 675 square meters of built area, the project includes a gym of 78 square meters, equipped with fitness machines and equipment. A game room of 70 square meters on the upper floor, fully equipped and ready to make the environment lighter and cozier for our staff," explains Marcelo Frota, engineer of the Santa Casa Foundation of Pará.

"The space, which received investments of R$ 2,105,225.74, also features a coexistence square encompassing a whole green area with malocas and benches already adapted for the accessibility of staff and users of the institution," informs Marcelo.

Over the years, Santa Casa do Pará has been training professionals in the health field to provide qualified care to patients seeking the institution for care. The importance of the work of Santa Casa staff is fundamental to strengthening the institution's history.

Lina Cristina Magno, manager of Worker Health (GSAT), informs that the gym and decompression space, affectionately called Santa Gente, is under the responsibility of the People Management of FSCMPA, of which we are part and consider it a dream of our team that is realized in this management of the institution.

"We understand that physical activity associated with a humanized work management, as well as actions for promotion, prevention, and health rehabilitation, come together in permanent efforts to improve the quality of life of the worker, thus having a positive impact on their health, on the conception of work, and on the reduction of environmental damage," points out Lina.

Vitor Maués, manager of People Development at Santa Casa, says that the importance of this space for the staff seeks to expand the strategic objective, which is to value the staff as a whole being.

"This space allows the staff to feel more welcomed; it is a place designed to enhance coexistence among staff, improve health and quality of life indices, because Santa Casa understands what the UN understands, that being well is not just about not being sick, but having social connections, having a gym space, a relief space, a space where you can be in a safe, relaxed environment, talking with your peers. It is a space of humanized welcome, of listening for them."

The president of the Santa Casa Foundation of Pará, Bruno Carmona, recognizes the importance of the Bem Viver project aimed at staff. The manager highlighted the importance of assistance and the valorization of the institution's history. "Santa Casa delivers today history, care, and knowledge. The São Roque ward as a backup for COP30, the Museum that rescues our trajectory, the Chapel restored after 35 years, and the Santa Gente Space, aimed at our staff."
