Seduc opens simplified selection process for Basic Education teachers

Applications start this Monday, 17, and continue until November 30 for the formation of a reserve list

The State Department of Education (Seduc) has opened applications for the Simplified Selection Process (PSS), aimed at forming a reserve list for hiring higher education teachers. The selected professionals will work in Basic Education, addressing temporary and exceptional demands in Regular, Special Education, Rural Education, and Quilombola School Education.

The remuneration for the position consists of a base salary of R$ 2,302.74, plus bonuses, in addition to a food allowance of R$ 1,500.00.

To apply, candidates must register on the Seduc website and present the following documents: CPF; Identity Card or Driver's License; Birth certificate, marriage certificate, or declaration of stable union; Voter registration and proof of electoral clearance; Military service card or proof of exemption (for male candidates); Updated proof of residence; Diploma or equivalent document proving the completion of graduation in the desired area; Academic transcript; Certificates of free or extension courses completed in the last five years; E-Social/PIS/PASEP/NIS/NIT number; Diploma or equivalent document regarding the completion of postgraduate studies (when informed); Proof of professional qualification related to the last five years; Proof of professional experience (CTPS, declaration of service time, or contract with notarized signature).

For candidates from the private sector, the presentation of the extract from the National Social Information Register (CNIS) will be required at the time of signing the contract.

The application will only be completed when the lesson plan, whose theme will be “Sustainability and Climate Justice: interdisciplinary perspectives for the future,” is finalized.

Stages of the selection process

The PSS will consist of five stages:

Application, from November 17 to 30, exclusively through the website, access here.

Curriculum analysis, via system, of a classificatory and eliminatory nature;

Evaluation of the Lesson Plan, according to the criteria of the notice, eliminatory stage.

The mandatory theme for all candidates is: “Sustainability and Climate Justice: interdisciplinary perspectives for the future.”

Call for presentation of original documentation and signing of the contract, eliminatory stage;

Practical test for the position of Special Education Teacher – Libras, eliminatory stage.

November 17 to 30, 2025 – Applications

December 3, 2025 – Preliminary result

December 4, 2025 – Filing of appeal

December 8, 2025 – Result of the appeal

December 11, 2025 – Preliminary result of the Curriculum Analysis

December 12, 2025 – Filing of appeal

December 16, 2025 – Result of the appeal

December 19, 2025 – Result of the Lesson Plan analysis

December 22, 2025 – Filing of appeal

December 29, 2025 – Final result

Starting from December 29, approved candidates will be called to present the documents. On the same date, candidates for the position of Special Education Teacher/Libras may also be called for the practical test.
