More than 14 thousand users have downloaded the Pra Já Metropolitano app
The integrated transport system has an exclusive digital ticketing service
Since the start of the assisted operation of the BRT Metropolitano on November 1st, passengers have access to Pra Já, an exclusive digital ticketing system that allows integration of different lines and a single fare of R$ 4.60 (R$ 2.30 for students).
Under the institutional management of the Public Services Regulation and Control Agency (Arcon), the Pra Já system was developed by the concessionaire Autopass and offers three access options to transportation: the digital ticket (QR Code), purchased via Pix in the Pra Já Metropolitano app (available for Android and iOS); the physical Pra Já card, rechargeable via the app and at BRT ticket offices, where the physical ticket can also be purchased with cash payment.
In the first 10 days of operation, more than 14 thousand users have already downloaded the Pra Já Metropolitano app for mobile devices. It allows users to recharge credits in the digital wallet through Pix transfer and generate a QR Code for ticket payment.
Regarding the physical card, 4,130 units have already been issued, distributed in the Common, Senior (for the elderly), School (for students), Special (for people with disabilities), and Collaborator categories.
According to Gilberto Barbosa, director of Metropolitan Transport at Arcon, the ticketing system represents a technological advancement in Pará's mobility. “Pra Já offers security and agility with reduced queues for change inside vehicles, terminals, and stations. It is a milestone in the modernization of transport that arrives alongside the BRT Metropolitano, bringing savings and practicality to passengers. Additionally, it ensures real-time data updates, facilitating management and planning of service operations,” comments Gilberto.
The operation will encompass 419 validators installed in 265 buses, 32 stations, and 2 terminals, with an estimated volume of 3.8 million monthly transactions. In addition to the onboard technology, Autopass is also investing in infrastructure, management, and customer service, generating over 150 local jobs, including ticket agents, operators, and support technicians.
Documentation - The issuance of the physical Pra Já card is carried out at the service points of the integration terminals in Ananindeua and Marituba and at the Cidadania Station in Shopping Metrópole. Users can also schedule service through https://linktr.ee/prajametropolitano
To request the card, it is necessary to present an original photo identification document or birth certificate; CPF; and proof of residence.
School - Students must add an official document provided by the educational institution, valid for up to 30 days after issuance, proving the student's enrollment for the academic year. It is important to note that for minors, the presence of parents or legal guardians is mandatory.
Transportation Voucher - Workers who use the Transportation Voucher (VT) should contact the HR department of the company they work for, which will be responsible for registration, issuance of cards, and requesting the benefit through the system.
To proceed with the process, companies must register on the TClient platform - an environment where, soon, it will be possible to request transportation cards for employees and monthly purchase transportation voucher credits. Registration can be done through https://tclient.inter.belem.orbi.autopasscorp.com/.
Exemptions - Starting from November 22, the issuance of Senior (Elderly) and Special (PCD) Cards will be intensified. In the case of the latter, it is necessary to present an updated medical report, issued no more than six months prior, at the time of request.
During the assisted operation, passengers entitled to exemptions can continue using the trunk and feeder lines, presenting their ID or the Passe Fácil card with the registered benefit. It is important to highlight that this presentation is provisional, as Pra Já currently does not integrate with the card used in Belém's transportation.
