Semas opens Selection Process with positions for elementary, middle, and higher education

PSS offers 263 vacancies in 6 positions, with salaries reaching R$ 2,186.87. Applications start this Monday (10) and go until next Wednesday (12).

Government of Pará invests in environmental management and expands the State's presence in all regions

The State Secretariat for Environment, Climate, and Sustainability began, this Monday (10), the applications for the Simplified Selection Process (PSS) No. 004/2025, until next Wednesday (12). The selection offers 263 vacancies, divided into six positions.

“With this new Selection Process, Semas reinforces the commitment of the Government of Pará to strengthen environmental management and expand the State's presence in all regions. These are opportunities for professionals from different backgrounds to contribute to public policies aimed at sustainability, addressing climate change, and preserving our natural resources,” said Lilia Reis, Deputy Secretary of Administrative Management and Technologies of Semas (SAGAT).

Interested parties must register, free of charge and exclusively, online, through the website www.sipros.pa.gov.br and be attentive to the application period, which will be between November 10 and 12. After registration, the system will issue a registration number and initial score according to the criteria defined in the complete notice of the selection process.

The vacancies are distributed across various Semas units in the State. The positions are for environmental assistant at the elementary level, environmental assistant at the middle level, and IT analyst, infrastructure analyst, environmental analyst, and public management analyst at the higher level.

For the higher-level positions, the following functions are available: computer science and engineering, computer networks, information systems, systems support, - Technology in Information Technology Management, civil engineering, law degree, environmental, biological, and social sciences, fisheries, forestry, chemical and sanitary engineering, statistics, geography, geology, meteorology, oceanography, social work, technologist in geoprocessing, environmental management, accounting sciences, administration, social communication, statistics, psychology, and advertising and propaganda.

The work schedule will be six hours a day, totaling 30 (thirty) hours a week, at a time established according to the needs of SEMAS, which may be from 8 am to 2 pm or from 11 am to 5 pm, with remuneration ranging from R$ 1,337.05 to R$ 2,186.87.

The PSS will consist of three stages. The first is the application act, the second is the document analysis attached at the time of application, and the third and final stage will be the interviews.

With the need for a rigorous process, Lilia Reis emphasizes, “Our goal is to attract engaged individuals who want to be part of a technical team committed to the sustainable development of Pará. Applications are completely free and online, and we invite all interested parties to participate in this process in a transparent and accessible manner.”
