Sefa seizes 3,600 liters of diesel in Santarém
In Marabá, personal protective equipment was seized.
At the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Tapajós, from the State Department of Finance of Pará (Sefa), in Baixo Amazonas, 3,600 liters of marine diesel, valued at R$ 18,828.00, were seized on Monday (03), without an invoice.
The seizure occurred in the municipality of Santarém, when a vessel was approached during the refueling of marine diesel. "This type of operation is common in the municipality, several small vessels refuel other vessels or sell retail, without issuing fiscal documentation, which was the case. And, many times, the fuel comes from dubious origins," said coordinator Roberto Mota.
The fuel was retained and a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued, valued at R$ 6,439.18, charging tax and fine.
Personal protective equipment – At the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Carajás, in the southeast of the State, personal protective equipment valued at R$ 359,629.85 was also seized on the same day, 03.
"The seizure occurred at the tax post of the Tocantins River Bridge, on the PA-150 highway, Km 423, in Marabá. The truck was transporting goods from the municipality of Rolândia/PR, destined for Belém/PA. After document analysis and consultations to the electronic invoice systems of Sefa, it was found that the taxpayer failed to collect the ICMS corresponding to the Differential ICMS rate (Difal), related to the operation intended for the final consumer who is not a taxpayer of the tax, as established by current legislation," reported coordinator Cicinato Oliveira.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued in the amount of R$ 64,965.39, already considering ICMS and fine.
