The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) is promoting free, formative, and cultural activities for those interested in music, art, literature, and candidates for the National High School Exam (Enem) this Thursday (30) and Friday (31) in Marabá. The activities will take place at the Cultural Station and Usina da Paz. No prior registration is required, but spots are limited to the capacity of the spaces.

This Thursday, 30, from 7 PM to 9:30 PM, the Cultural Station will host the workshop "Beyond the Children's: The Broad Universe of Illustrated Books," taught by Francisca Cerqueira and Bino Souza. The meeting will explore creative and narrative possibilities that go beyond pages aimed solely at a children's audience.

On Friday, 31, the program will start with the "Writing Class for the Enem," promoted by FCP in partnership with the Liberdade State High School. The class will be held at Usina da Paz from 8 AM to 12 PM.

In the afternoon and evening, activities will take place at the Cultural Station. From 2 PM to 6 PM, there will be a Hip Hop workshop with Trevo and Kaus, and from 5 PM to 7 PM, the workshop "Advances and Challenges of Cultural Practices in the Carajás Region," led by members of the Academy of Letters of Marabá, the Cultural Association, and the Culture Council of Marabá, along with the Editorial Promotion Coordinator of FCP, Neila Garcês.

The activities are part of the "Book Circuit" project, which is part of the FCP Throughout Pará program, and aim to ensure cultural promotion in encouraging reading. "The Book Circuit is an action already established in the Cultural Foundation and throughout Pará. We aim to promote books written by Pará authors and produced in Pará. This is a public policy aimed not only at valuing local writers but mainly at consolidating a literary value that is already attributed by outside readers to the works from Pará, because we have great established names. We seek to ensure the strengthening of these names and open doors for new talents and mainly ensure the formation of a reading public that consumes these books, returning to our local production," details Neila Garcês.
