Sectet starts the 1st Meeting of the Pará Professional Collaborators

The event brings together instructors, coordinators, and teams from the Usinas da Paz and the State Technical Schools (EETEPAs)

The Secretary of Science, Technology and Higher, Professional and Technological Education (Sectet) began, this Wednesday (22), the 1st Meeting of the Collaborators of the Pará Professional Program, which will run until October 24, at the auditorium of the Guamá Science and Technology Park (PCT) in Belém.

The event brings together instructors, coordinators, and teams from the Usinas da Paz and the State Technical Schools (EETEPA), aiming to strengthen integration among professionals, promote training, and align actions and goals for the upcoming training cycles.

The opening of the event was attended by the Secretary of Sectet, Victor Dias, who delivered the keynote lecture on the role of the secretary in the Usinas da Paz. “This meeting represents a moment of integration and strengthening of the Pará Professional network. It is an opportunity to value our collaborators and align actions that ensure even more quality and social impact to the courses and training offered by Sectet,” highlighted the secretary.

Sewing & Fashion opens the cycle of activities - The first day is dedicated to the Sewing & Fashion Axis, with a program focused on creativity, planning, and sustainability in professional training.

The program included the lectures “Protagonism and Balance: how to transform conflicts into work potential,” with psychologist Eliete Barroso, and “Teaching Planning,” delivered by Verena Rodrigues. In the afternoon, the highlight is the workshop “Creation and Sustainability: transforming textile waste,” led by designer Jonathan Camelo, who addresses practices of material reuse and innovation in sewing.

The program continues until Friday (24) - In the coming days, the meeting will continue with the Gastronomy axis (10/23) and Science, Technology, and Innovation - CT&I (10/24).

The Gastronomy Axis will bring discussions on community kitchen management, good handling practices, and appreciation of Amazonian flavors, with lectures, dynamics, and practical workshops.

The CT&I Axis will conclude the cycle with demonstrations of robotics, 3D printing, and digital communication, highlighting projects developed by students and instructors from the Usinas da Paz.

The event is exclusive to scholarship holders and instructors, with in-person participation from the Usinas da Paz of Guamá, Terra Firme, Cabanagem, Jurunas, Benguí, Icuí, Benevides, Marituba, and Castanhal, and live transmission for other municipalities.
