With this delivery, the number of families benefited in Ananindeua is over twelve thousand

The government of Pará, through the State Housing Company (Cohab), delivered, this Tuesday (21), to families in Ananindeua, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, 800 checks from the housing program "Your House", referring to the first and second phases of the benefit. The event, which took place at the Usina da Paz in Icuí-Guajará, was attended by Governor Helder Barbalho and Vice Governor Hana Ghassan. With this delivery, the number of families benefited with "Your House" in Ananindeua is over twelve thousand.
According to the head of the state executive, the benefit will ensure that the families contemplated can make improvements to their housing units. "With this, people will be able to improve their homes, expand their residences, qualifying the environment in which they live and increasing the quality of life for each of these families. And today is a very symbolic day, because four years ago, we opened this Usina da Paz here in Icuí-Guajará, and now we are here to serve the population of Ananindeua in another action where the state government, through Cohab and with the coordination of Vice Governor Hana, can serve and look after the population of Ananindeua," pointed out Helder, who also made a point of singing "happy birthday" to the Usina, along with the neighborhood's population.

On the occasion, Vice Governor Hana Ghassan advised the beneficiaries of "Your House" not to accept being charged more than the value of the check for construction materials. "You have to go to the store with the list of construction materials and ask for a quote, without showing that the purchase is with the check. If at the time of closing the deal, the storekeeper wants to raise the price, report it and go buy at another establishment," highlighted the vice governor. Any store with an active CNPJ is eligible to receive the "Your House" check.

Also present at the event was the president of Cohab, Manoel Pioneiro, who emphasized the program's goal of providing dignified housing for those in need. "This is the goal of the work developed by Governor Helder and our Vice Governor Hana, who work to bring the 'Your House' benefit to all corners of the State of Pará," emphasized Pioneiro.
The seamstress Deusa Maria Simões shared that after 60 years she will be able to improve the house where she lives. "I will renovate the entire front part of my house, as it rains a lot, and my situation was very difficult. I live in Jaderlândia, I entered the area and built my house by buying 20 bricks at a time, and today I have the check that will make my dream come true," said the seamstress.
Meanwhile, the self-employed Ellen Maria dos Santos commented that she was feeling her heart racing, as she will "have my first own house made of masonry, to be able to give my children the comfort of living better. I am very grateful to Governor Helder and Vice Hana, because they look after the needy people."

Since its creation, the "Your House" Housing Program has reached over 150,000 people throughout Pará. An investment in combating the housing deficit of R$ 1,323,592,475.00 in the State.
