Daycares Across Pará: second unit in Ananindeua is 50% completed
The municipality will gain its second public facility aimed at access to early childhood

On the morning of this Tuesday (21), the Deputy Governor Hana Ghassan, accompanied by the Secretary of Education, Ricardo Sefer, visited Ananindeua, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, and inspected the work on the second daycare unit to be delivered by the State Government in the municipality. The construction has already reached 50% of the services completed.
The public facility provides benefits for families who need to return to the job market or are in situations of social vulnerability. The first unit was delivered in October 2024.
The State Department of Education (Seduc), through the program 'Daycares Across Pará', has ensured increased access to early childhood in Pará municipalities, with services for up to 200 children aged 0 to 5 years per unit.

With an investment of approximately R$ 5,215,524.94 from the State Treasury, the construction will feature multipurpose rooms, a lactation room, breastfeeding area, diaper changing rooms, cafeteria, playroom, playground, garden, vegetable garden, among other communal spaces to ensure the comfort and well-being of the children and the technical and teaching staff.

The worker Felipe Teixeira highlighted the importance of a space like this for families and that the construction is progressing rapidly to be delivered to the population.
“It is a significant contribution for the community to participate in this construction of a daycare, with an excellent structure that will serve a large part of the population of the Coqueiro neighborhood. It will make a big difference, serving several families and ensuring that families do not have to travel far from their homes. Every day we give our best here so that the work progresses and the construction also moves forward more quickly,” said Felipe Teixeira.
The 'Daycares Across Pará' Program plans to build 150 units in various regions of the State with an investment exceeding R$ 400 million.
So far, daycares have been delivered in the municipalities of Belém, Oriximiná, Ananindeua, Benevides, Redenção, Cumaru do Norte, Bannach, Almeirim, Melgaço, Curuçá, Marabá, and Igarapé-Açu.
