Ecoarte Project promotes children's clay workshop at Mangal das Garças this Sunday (19)
This week, the activity will be in a clay workshop. The program is free and starts at 10 AM.
On next Sunday (19), the government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Tourism (Setur) and the Social Organization Pará 2000, will promote, at the Zoobotanical Park Mangal das Garças, another edition of the children's environmental education project "Ecoarte". This week, the activity will be in a clay workshop. The program is free and starts at 10 AM.
Playing with clay directly works on various areas of children's development, such as fine motor coordination, creativity, sensory stimulation, and reduction of stress and anxiety. In the workshop, the little ones will have the opportunity to work with the material from the beginning, exploring different textures, and they will also be able to decorate their creations with natural elements they find around Mangal.
“The 'Ecoarte' aims to bring children closer to nature, creating an emotional memory and sense of belonging. Realizing that we are an intrinsic part of nature is a very important step in caring for this unique asset,” says Fernanda Scaramuzzini, Marketing Coordinator of OS Pará 2000.
In addition to the children's project, Mangal das Garças has daily programs for the public to connect as much as possible with the local fauna and flora. Check it out:
