Electrical cables came from Viana (ES)

The State Department of Finance of Pará (Sefa) seized, on Wednesday (10/15), a load of 40.7 tons of electrical conductor cables valued at R$ 2,371,403.59. The seizure occurred at the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit in Gurupi, located in the municipality of Cachoeira do Piriá, northeastern Pará. The state revenue inspectors seized the load that was being transported in two trucks that left Viana (ES) headed for Barcarena, in Pará.

“After analyzing the tax documents, the officials found that the Differential Rate of ICMS (Difal), charged on interstate operations, was not fully paid. In the first vehicle, the correct amount of Difal was R$ 106,934.35, but only R$ 86,616.82 was collected. In the second, the tax due was R$ 98,001.77, and the collection was R$ 79,381.46. The differences in payment totaled R$ 38,937.84,” reported the unit coordinator, Gustavo Bozola.

Two Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs) were drawn up totaling R$ 54,513.01, charging tax and fines.

Seized diesel

Diesel – On 10/14, at the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Araguaia, located on PA-447 highway, km 15, in Conceição do Araguaia, 7,000 liters of S10 diesel oil were seized, originating from a gas station in Couto Magalhaes (TO) and destined for a gas station in Conceição do Araguaia. The value of the goods is R$ 41,263.16.

“The driver of the tanker truck presented the tax documents, and the inspectors suspected the reported quantity, and conducted a physical verification of the vehicle, finding one of the tanks full and unsealed. The driver then presented a second invoice, with 7,000 liters of diesel oil, which was not accepted because it was presented after the start of the tax action,” said coordinator Renato Couto.

Two TADs were drawn up, one for obstruction of inspection and another regarding the fuel tax and tax fine, totaling R$ 16,992.78, which was collected and the goods released.
