Sefa seizes equipment worth R$ 50 thousand in Serra do Cachimbo
The invoice indicated one delivery location while the product was going to another place

During an inspection carried out this Monday (13), at the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of the State Department of Finance (Sefa) of Serra do Cachimbo, on the BR-163 highway (Cuiabá-Santarém), km-785, in the municipality of Novo Progresso, southwestern Pará, a decanter set was seized, a commodity valued at R$ 50 thousand.
“The pickup truck coming from Capinzal (SC) was transporting a decanter set. The seizure occurred because the presented invoice referred to an operation intended for another federation unit. According to the fiscal document, the recipient of the equipment would be a company located in Rio Grande do Sul; however, after diligence, it was found that the equipment would be delivered to a slaughterhouse located in the State of Pará. Since the invoice did not correspond to the operation effectively verified, as the equipment will be internalized in the State of Pará, a breach of transit was configured, which is when the invoice indicates one delivery location and the goods go to another location,” explained coordinator Maycon Freitas.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up in the amount of R$ 17.1 thousand, referring to the tax and fines due.
