Forecast indicates a stable weather weekend for Círio, with quick rains and intense heat
The Secretary of Environment, Climate and Sustainability (Semas) releases data from the Coordination of Hydrometeorological Monitoring and Air Quality

According to the Secretary of Environment, Climate and Sustainability (Semas), through the informational bulletin from the Coordination of Hydrometeorological Monitoring and Air Quality (COMHAR), this weekend of the Círio de Nazaré 2025 will be marked by stable weather, with the sky varying between clear and partly cloudy. The traditional rain on Círio's Sunday may appear again, but in a quick and isolated manner, without the risk of heavy showers.
Therefore, the people of Pará and pilgrims will be able to follow the processions with peace of mind, with little chance of intense rain. On Friday (10), during the Road Transfer of the Pilgrim Image, scheduled for the morning, the sky should remain partly cloudy, with periods of sun among the clouds. In the late afternoon, around the time of completion of the route, there is a possibility of quick and isolated rains. Temperatures are expected to range between 24°C (minimum) and 31°C (maximum).
For Saturday morning (11), when the Fluvial Romaria and the Moto Romaria take place, the forecast is for a clear sky and no rain. During the descent of the Image of Glória and the Mass of Trasladação, the weather remains partly cloudy, with a forecast of light and isolated rain in the late afternoon and early evening. Temperatures are expected to fluctuate between 23°C and 34°C.
On Sunday (12), the day of Círio de Nazaré, the morning should have a clear sky with scattered clouds and relative humidity between 60% and 98%. In the afternoon, weak and isolated rains typical of the period may occur.
According to NMH, the atmospheric conditions do not indicate the formation of clouds with potential for intense rains. However, the high temperatures may cause intense heat, especially in the afternoon.
Therefore, the recommendation is to wear light and light-colored clothing, stay hydrated, and avoid long exposures to the sun, ensuring more comfort during the Círio program.
