Mangueirão Stadium Hosts the Final of the 6th Edition of the Military Barracks Football League
Competition supported by the Government of Pará, through Seel, mobilized 22 teams and over 800 athletes this year
With the support of the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), the Olympic Stadium of Pará Journalist Edgar Proença, Mangueirão, in Belém, will host this Saturday (4), at 9 am, the grand final of the Military Barracks Football League, a competition that reaches its sixth edition, bringing together military personnel and the community. The tournament, organized by the Military Police of Pará, featured 22 teams and over 800 athletes this year, representing barracks from the capital and the countryside.

The competition was divided into two phases: round-robin and knockout, with matches that mobilized fans and strengthened integration among the battalions. The teams reaching the final are Grêmio do 13º Batalhão de Tucuruí and Águia Futebol Clube (Batalhão Águia), both with outstanding campaigns and decisive victories. The expectation is to receive a large audience at Mangueirão, in a spirit of camaraderie among military personnel, families, and the community at large.
According to the head of Seel, Cássio Andrade, the final of the competition is "another great sporting event at our Mangueirão. I want to congratulate everyone for this important moment for these military athletes."
Sergeant Ana Cleide of the PM highlighted the support received for the final's realization. "We are grateful to Secretary Cássio Andrade for his efforts in securing the date for our championship at Mangueirão, given the many events the stadium has hosted during this period," she stated.

Appreciation - The president of the Military Barracks League, Colonel PM Aquino Dias, stated that "the support from Seel was essential for the final to take place at Mangueirão, today the most modern stadium in Pará. It is a moment of appreciation for us, military police officers, and for everyone involved in the League."
In addition to the sporting aspect, the League maintains a strong social character. Entry for the final will be exchanged for 1 kilogram of non-perishable food, which will be donated to partner entities for distribution to the community. Parallel actions of citizenship and educational campaigns were also carried out during the tournament.
