The 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30), taking place in November, is expected to significantly increase the demand for transportation services in Belém. To further qualify professionals in the sector, the Capacita COP30 platform offers free courses aimed at app drivers, taxi drivers, and drivers in general. The training covers topics such as passenger service, vehicle maintenance, traffic safety, and languages, with certification valid throughout Brazil.

Among the highlights are the course on Citizenship in Passenger Transport, aimed at taxi drivers and app drivers, as well as training in Electric Vehicle Hygiene, Simplified Mechanics, and Preventive Vehicle Maintenance. There are also courses available in Traffic Education, Professional Excellence for Drivers, and Service for People with Mobility Restrictions. Registrations must be made on the official program platform: www.capacitacop30.pa.gov.br.

Since they are completely online, drivers can organize their studies according to their own routines. At the end, everyone receives nationally recognized certification, an important differentiator to expand job opportunities, especially in light of the movement that COP30 is expected to generate in the transportation sector.

Inclusive and professional service – In addition to technical training, the platform also offers courses in English, Public Speaking, and Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), which enhance qualifications to serve foreign tourists, improve communication with passengers, and contribute to the inclusion of people with hearing disabilities.

Partnerships that expand the reach of training – Since its inception, the program has certified thousands of drivers and is close to reaching 30,000 participants, with the support of more than 30 public and private institutions. This network strengthens Capacita COP30 as one of the main professional qualification initiatives in Pará, with a direct impact on the transportation market.
