Department of Finance (Sefa) seizes 25 tons of metal in Cachoeira do Piriá
The cargo left Caucaia (CE) destined for Cametá, in the Lower Tocantins, Pará

Inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa) seized 25 tons of metal in Cachoeira do Piriá, in the northeastern part of the state, on Sunday (28). The seizure was carried out by state revenue inspectors assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit in Gurupi.
“During the inspection, the truck driver presented an invoice originating from Caucaia (CE) and destined for Cametá (PA), but it indicated delivery to an address in Belém. None of the addresses provided were in the taxpayer's registration. After checking the systems, it was identified that the company was suspended from the registration due to failure to issue tax documents,” reported coordinator Gustavo Bozola.

The cargo, consisting of pipes and sheets, valued at R$ 256,731.72, was retained and a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was issued for a total of R$ 37,482.83, referring to the tax and fine.
Totems for gas station - During a port inspection in the municipality of Santarém, on Saturday (27), the team of inspectors from the Coordination of Control of Goods in Tapajós seized components destined for a tax post, such as totems and fuel hoses, valued at R$ 219,547.89, on a vessel that left Manaus destined for Santarém.
“During the inspection, it was found that there was an invoice dated 21/08/2025, referring to a tax operation of shipment for loan. The team considered the invoice suspicious, as the goods took 37 days to be sent to Santarém. Furthermore, no loan contract was presented, nor was there any mention or information about any contract number in the supplementary data of the invoice. As it was material for use and consumption, the Differential Rate of ICMS (Difal) was charged, and a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was generated, amounting to R$ 21,515.69, reported Roberto Mota, coordinator of the tax unit.
