Codec receives logistics company interested in expanding investments in Pará
The meeting reinforces the role of the Company in attracting investments for all of Pará and strengthening the Industrial Districts of the State

The Pará Economic Development Company (Codec) held a meeting on Thursday (25) with representatives from Majonav Transportes, a logistics company that has been collaborating with the Company for quite some time, operating in the Industrial District of Belém, in Icoaraci.
During the meeting, Majonav expressed interest in expanding its activities to the Industrial District of Barcarena, with the intention of implementing a new logistics project. The initiative, still in its initial phase, reinforces the company's confidence in the business environment built by Codec and highlights the strategic potential of the municipality for strengthening the logistics chain in Pará.
The Director of Investment Attraction and Business at Codec, Manoel Ibiapina, emphasized the importance of dialogue with investors. “Our job is to listen to companies, understand their demands, and guide them on the possibilities in each industrial district. This process strengthens the business environment and paves the way for new projects in the State,” he stated. Also participating in the meeting from Codec was the regional manager of Belém and the Metropolitan Area, Felipe Jorge.

The president of Codec, Lutfala Bitar, reinforced the strategic vision of the Company. “We are building a more competitive Pará, prepared to receive companies that generate jobs, income, and sustainable development. The management of industrial districts is fundamental in this process, ensuring that each area is allocated to projects that bring concrete benefits to the population,” he emphasized.
