PC arrests man in Belém investigated for orchestrating drug trafficking in Salinópolis
The suspect had his arrest ordered by the Justice in an investigation that examines the transport of 120 bricks of cocaine, seized on Sunday (21)

The Civil Police of Pará, through the State Narcotics Division (DENARC) and with the support of the Police Intelligence Center (NIP), executed, this Monday (22), a search and seizure warrant and a preventive arrest order issued by the Salinópolis District Court against a man identified as the orchestrator of a drug trafficking case in the municipality, discovered by the PC earlier this month.
The investigated individual was located and arrested in the Castanheira neighborhood, in Belém, as part of ongoing investigations that already resulted in the arrest in flagrant of a man last Sunday (21) in Salinópolis, for drug trafficking via river.
“The investigated individual arrested this Tuesday is identified as the mentor and orchestrator of a criminal group focused on drug trafficking via river. He plays a central and strategic role, coordinating the logistics of the operation and ensuring the transportation of the narcotics,” explained delegate David Bahury, acting director of DENARC.

During the searches at the suspect's address, a .40 caliber pistol loaded with five rounds and two spare magazines without ammunition were found and seized. Thus, the suspect was arrested in flagrant for possession of a restricted-use firearm. Cell phones, notebooks, and documents were also seized.
The suspect was presented at the police unit for the necessary legal procedures and remains at the disposal of the judiciary.
