Residents of Icoaraci receive over 1,100 new prescription glasses through the "Por Todas Elas" program
In total, 1,111 new glasses were made available to residents who were attended to in eye consultations and exams conducted on August 18, at the Matriz Church in the district of Belém.

Seeing better and with dignity. Starting this Monday (22), this is the new reality for more than a thousand residents of Icoaraci. Through the "Por Todas Elas" program, the state government ensured the delivery of new vision equipment to people attended in consultations and eye exams conducted on August 18, at the Matriz Church in the district of Belém.

In total, 1,111 new glasses were made available to the population of "Vila Sorriso". An emotional moment for those who can now see life more clearly, like housewife Jaqueline Monteiro. "I could no longer see properly. Now I am reading this paper and can even see the smallest letters. It’s perfect. This is a project approved by the population. A commendable action by the government," celebrated the beneficiary.

Iracy Batista, a resident of the Outeiro district, was also one of the beneficiaries of the action held in the region and secured her new prescription glasses. "I was already feeling a lot of dizziness and difficulties with my vision. Now it’s great. We cannot afford to buy new glasses, so this is an action that helps a lot. Before, I used those 'generic' glasses. Now, for the first time, I have real glasses," celebrated Iracy.

More health and quality of life - Coordinator and idealizer of the "Por Todas Elas" program, the vice-governor of Pará, Hana Ghassan, highlighted the importance of ensuring more health and quality of life for the population. "We are starting the week by delivering more than 1,100 new glasses, which represent health and quality of life for our population. I know the importance of glasses for daily life, and it is very good to see the population having access to this service. Many would not have resources if it weren't for this program, so we will continue bringing services closer to the people," she stated.
Por Todas Elas - Created in 2024, the "Por Todas Elas" program has already accounted for over 170,000 services throughout Pará, by offering more than 30 types of free services in health, citizenship, and leisure. The state initiative aims, in addition to ensuring essential services to Pará women and their families, to strengthen the debate on female participation as protagonists in the construction of rights and in society.

"The 'Por Todas Elas' program was born to take care of people, especially women and their families. Delivering more than a thousand glasses in Icoaraci means ensuring health, dignity, inclusion, and the certainty that the government of Pará is close, taking care of the population," said the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.
Service - People who were attended in the action that took place in the Icoaraci district and could not attend the delivery this Monday (22) can pick up their glasses directly at the Usina da Paz Pe. Bruno Sechi, located on Estrada do Bengui, next to the Detran Retention Park. It is necessary to present an official identification document to make the pickup.

In case of possible problems with the delivered glasses, interested parties should also seek the Usina da Paz Bengui to request the necessary corrections.
