The Social Program CNH Pai D`Égua - Special Edition for Atypical Mothers starts, at 8 am this Monday, 22, another round of registrations. This time, for the municipalities of Baixo Amazonas and Xingu. In these two regions, 700 spots are offered for 29 municipalities, and to participate in the program, candidates must be registered in the Unified Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) by February 28, 2025.

The program also establishes other participation criteria, including having a verified elementary education, residing in Pará, and having a medical report for the child(ren) with a disability diagnosis (CID), issued by a doctor accredited by the SUS network.

Registrations for the Program are made exclusively online, through the Detran website (www.detran.pa.gov.br) until the next day 24. At this stage, there is no need to present the documents required in the notice, but only to fill in the personal information described in the electronic registration form.

The CNH Pai D'égua is a program of the Government of Pará, coordinated by the State Department of Transit (Detran), which aims to guarantee more job opportunities through the completely free issuance of the National Driver's License. In the case of the special edition to benefit atypical mothers, the goal is for them to also use the document to acquire a vehicle and facilitate transportation for clinical treatment and other mobility needs.

According to the program's notice, a person with a disability is understood to be one who has long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory impairments, which, in interaction with various barriers, may obstruct their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others, as per Article 2 of Law No. 13.146/2015 – Statute of the Person with Disabilities.

This special edition offers 4,000 spots for the entire state, exclusively for first-time licensing in category B (car). Baixo Amazonas and Xingu are the penultimate regions to receive registrations, with only the south and southeast remaining. “It is important that all mothers interested in the benefit read the complete notice before registering and observe the rules, deadlines, and mandatory documents,” clarifies the program coordinator, Ana Carolina Sampaio.

From 22 to 24, atypical mothers from Altamira, Anapu, Alenquer, Almeirim, Aveiro, Belterra, Brasil Novo, Curuá, Faro, Gurupá, Itaituba, Jacareacanga, Juruti, Medicilândia, Mojuí dos Campos, Monte Alegre, Novo Progresso, Óbidos, Oriximiná, Prainha, Placas, Porto de Moz, Rurópolis, Senador José Porfírio, Santarém, Terra Santa, Trairão, Uruará, and Vitória do Xingu can register.
