Cosanpa promotes technical meeting to strengthen water quality in Pará
Event brought together specialists and institutions from the sector to discuss laboratory practices and analytical safety

The Pará Sanitation Company (Cosanpa), through the Water Production Services Unit, linked to the Operations Directorate, held a technical meeting on Thursday (18), focusing on innovations and solutions to ensure the quality of water consumed by the population.
The event, which took place at the Bolonha Water Treatment Station Auditorium, had the theme "From sampling to reliable data: HexiS technologies and solutions to ensure analytical quality and regulatory compliance" and brought together representatives from Cosanpa, Águas do Pará – a company of the AEGEA Group – and the Regulatory and Control Agency for Public Services of the State of Pará (Arcon).
The objective of the meeting was to discuss good laboratory practices, traceability strategies, and ways to ensure the reliability of analytical data, in accordance with the standards established by the legislation on water quality for human consumption.
During the discussions, the importance of adopting technological solutions that reinforce the transparency and credibility of laboratory results was also addressed. For the manager of the Quality Executive Unit of Cosanpa, Arthur Arrais, the initiative strengthens the Company's commitment to continuous improvement.
“The exchange of knowledge with specialists and companies in the sector further strengthens our commitment to ensure quality water for the population, always aligned with regulatory requirements,” he emphasized.

The training included the participation of professionals from different areas of the Company. The chemist Wanderson Oliveira, technical manager of the Central Laboratory of the Bolonha Treatment Station, emphasized the importance of the event.
“These moments of learning are essential because they allow us to align our laboratory routines with the best practices in the market, ensuring more reliability and safety in the results we deliver daily, in addition to strengthening the relationship between Cosanpa and the concessionaire responsible for water distribution,” he stated.
