The Vice-Governor of Pará, Hana Ghassan, was honored on Thursday (18) with the Medal of the Order of Merit of Accounts "Governor Alacid da Silva Nunes", at the rank of Commander. The First Lady of the State, Daniela Barbalho, also received the decoration, which was presented by the Court of Accounts of the Municipalities of the State of Pará (TCMPA), during a ceremony that also marked the delivery of the new annex of the Court in Belém.

The new structure is modern, sustainable, equipped with a solar energy system, and was designed to increase service capacity, as well as provide better working conditions for the agency's employees.

Institutional Recognition

In thanking for the honor, the Vice-Governor emphasized the importance of recognition, stating that she receives the medal on behalf of the State Government and all those who work to strengthen the institutions of Pará.

“I am sure that all of us here share a very strong common feeling: the great honor of receiving this medal. I receive this distinction as a recognition that greatly honors me, as well as honors our State Government, our Governor Helder Barbalho, and the entire team of which I have the privilege of being a part,” said Hana Ghassan.

Infrastructure in Service of Good Management

The Vice-Governor also highlighted the relevance of the new structure for the functioning of the Court and for welcoming municipalities seeking institutional support.

“It is essential to offer, in addition to dignified working conditions, a welcoming environment for the employees. Likewise, it is fundamental to warmly receive the municipalities that seek support and guidance here. Having an adequate space for this reception is undoubtedly a great advance for the entire State of Pará,” she added.

Modern and Sustainable Structure

The president of TCMPA, counselor Lúcio Vale, reinforced the objective of the new annex, designed to improve service to public managers and society.

“This new annex was designed to better welcome all who arrive here: managers, citizens, partners, and employees. But, above all, it was designed to offer more quality of work to those who make the TCM function every day — our employees and collaborators, who form our great TCM Pará family,” said the president.

Tribute to Leadership and Partnership

In commenting on the delivery of the medal to Vice-Governor Hana Ghassan, Lúcio Vale highlighted the role of leaders who contribute to the improvement of public administration in the State.

“The medal we present today carries more than an institutional recognition: it represents the respect and gratitude that this Court has for those who walk alongside us collaborating, supporting, and expanding the results of our work in favor of the Pará society,” he concluded.
