The Pará delegation returned with five medals

With the support of the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sport and Leisure (Seel), athletes from Pará reached the podium of the 2025 Super Brazilian Taekwondo Championship, bringing five medals to the State, including two gold, one silver, and two bronze. The state government supported more than 25 athletes for the competition, one of the most important in the sport. In Aracaju, the capital of Sergipe, the event gathered more than 2,000 athletes from the cadet to master categories, from all regions of Brazil. The event was organized by the Brazilian Taekwondo Confederation (CBTKD).

The State Secretary of Sport and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, emphasized the importance of the achievement. “Taekwondo in Pará is experiencing a special moment. These results show the talent of our athletes and the importance of government support for them to compete at a high level. We are very happy with the achievements and confident that we will have many more reasons to celebrate in the future,” he highlighted.

The support from the Government of Pará, through Seel, ensures athletes coverage for travel, accommodation, and meals in national and international competitions, strengthening the development of high-performance sports in the State.
