"Por Todas Elas" delivers over a thousand new prescription glasses to residents of the Guamá neighborhood in Belém
In total, 1,080 new glasses were delivered to residents who were attended to during eye consultations and exams conducted in the action that took place on August 9th at the Usina da Paz in the neighborhood.

The government of Pará, through the "Por Todas Elas" program, delivered 1,080 new prescription glasses to residents of the Guamá neighborhood in Belém on Wednesday (17). The initiative benefited people who were attended to during eye consultations and exams conducted in the action that took place on August 9th.

During the delivery, which took place at the Usina da Paz in the neighborhood, the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, reinforced the State's commitment to promoting citizenship, health, and quality of life for the population. "Today we are delivering more glasses through 'Por Todas Elas'. These are frames chosen by the people and free consultations. There is no need to pay anything to receive your new glasses and have a better quality of life. We invite everyone to participate in the program's actions, which cares not only for women but also for husbands, children, and everyone," declared the head of the state Executive.

The Vice Governor of Pará and coordinator of the state program for women's assistance, Hana Ghassan, highlighted the importance of looking after and caring for the health of those who need it most. "This delivery represents care for people's health. Ensuring that our population can feel better, learn more, and be more productive. Glasses are life and health, and it is very good to be close to make this delivery. We know that many do not have the resources to buy new glasses, and 'Por Todas Elas' offers this for free. It is a program that brings health, hope, and citizenship to people," said the Vice Governor of Pará.

Excellence in service - Craftswoman Luíza Batista Pinheiro was one of the beneficiaries of the delivery and stated that the new vision equipment will help both her health and her professional performance.
"It will be very useful. I have vision problems, glaucoma, so I cannot be without glasses. This opportunity that the government has given us is very gratifying. I feel honored. The service was excellent. I work with the production of bags and sandals, and now I will be able to see better and pay more attention to my work," said Luíza.

Resident of the Guamá neighborhood, housewife Cristina de Moraes also highlighted the benefits she expects to gain from the delivery of her new glasses. "I found the action wonderful. I had never seen an action like this here in our neighborhood. My vision was terrible, and I was having a lot of headaches. Now everything will improve," she concluded.
Por Todas Elas - Created in 2024, the "Por Todas Elas" program has already provided over 160,000 services throughout Pará, offering more than 30 types of free services in health, citizenship, and leisure. The state initiative aims not only to guarantee essential services to Pará women and their families but also to strengthen the debate on women's participation as protagonists in the construction of rights and in society.
The program has already ensured, in 2025, the delivery of about 30,000 new prescription glasses to the population served in the project's itinerant actions.
"The delivery of these glasses represents much more than care for vision. It means offering dignity, inclusion, and new opportunities for those who need it most. The 'Por Todas Elas' program is born from this commitment: to ensure that every woman, every family, and every citizen can see better and have a better quality of life," said the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.

Service - People who were attended to during the action that took place in the Guamá neighborhood and could not attend the delivery on Wednesday (17) can pick up their glasses directly at the Usina da Paz in the neighborhood, located at Av. Bernardo Sayão, 4,783. It is necessary to present an official identification document.
In case of possible problems with the delivered glasses, interested parties should also seek the Usina da Paz Guamá to request the necessary corrections.
