Iasep holds meeting with unions about service to insured individuals
Institute strengthens dialogue with representatives and presents improvements that are already being implemented

The Institute of Health Assistance for Public Servants of Pará (Iasep) held a technical meeting with union representatives at its headquarters on Almirante Barroso Avenue in Belém. The objective was to discuss crucial topics for improving services provided to insured individuals, with a focus on modernizing and expanding care. The meeting was attended by the president of the Institute, Josynélia Tavares Raiol; the vice president, Kleyce Leite; and the director of health assistance, Leonardo da Silva Costa, along with the technical team of the agency.
Before the meeting, the union representatives, including Evandro Denis (Sinditran), Conceição Holanda (Sintep), Andrelina Pereira, Sandra Azevedo, and Iracema Silva (Representative of Retirees), Mirian Andrade (Sindsaúde), and Alberto Andrade (Conad), had the opportunity to visit the facilities of the João Paulo II and Almirante Barroso headquarters. During the visit, they were welcomed by the institute's board, which presented the work of Iasep, especially regarding the auditing of services provided to the insured individuals of the Plan.

The president of Iasep opened the meeting by reinforcing the agency's commitment to transparency and dialogue with the unions, highlighting the importance of collaboration to meet the demands of the insured individuals and their dependents. “Our goal is to modernize and streamline services, ensuring greater efficiency and access to health for all insured individuals,” stated Josynélia Raiol.
Next, a presentation was made by the president of the Institute on the activities and modernization actions of the Plan, emphasizing the implementation of biometrics, a management assistance system, telemedicine, and other improvement initiatives.

The president welcomed the demands and suggestions presented by the union representatives. She explained the implementation of biometrics, which is one of the main points for improving services, as it will allow for greater control over the actual performance of consultations and procedures by the accredited network, and informed that Calls for Credentialing of Doctors, Clinics, and Hospitals are open, aiming to expand the network to meet the demand, especially for specialty consultations.
The president of Iasep also informed that the process for implementing telemedicine is underway, which will allow for serving insured individuals in more remote regions and facilitate access to more sought-after medical specialties, whether in terms of demand for vacancies or complexity, especially for those with few qualified and active professionals in the State.
The topics presented and measures adopted will be forwarded for evaluation by the Board of Administration (Conad), where the Union of Active and Retired Public Servants of Pará has a seat through its representatives, allowing for monitoring the actions taken by the institute and reinforcing the joint effort to strengthen dialogue and the health assistance plan for state servants.
