Detran starts enrollment for CNH Pai D’égua for atypical mothers in over 80 municipalities
Mandatory step must be completed within the deadline specified in the notice, upon presentation of supporting documents

The State Government, through the State Department of Transit (Detran), started, this Monday (15), the enrollment phase for candidates approved in the Social Program CNH Pai D’égua – Atypical Mothers Edition. This is another step aimed at the 600 candidates classified in the regions of Marajó, Abaetetuba, Capanema, Paragominas, and Tucuruí and surrounding municipalities.
The enrollment period runs until September 19, from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4 pm. Approved candidates from these regions must attend the corresponding Ciretrans (Regional Traffic Circumscription), respecting the day and time described in the enrollment passport, available on the Detran website.
Since its inception, the CNH Pai D’égua has benefited more than 60,000 people, establishing itself as a national reference by offering free access to the first driver's license. The edition aimed at atypical mothers reaffirms the commitment of the Government of Pará to public policies that ensure accessibility, dignity, and citizenship.

According to the president of the CNH Pai D’égua Program Commission, Ana Carolina Sampaio, the enrollment period was planned to ensure exclusive and humanized service.
“This edition was organized with a differentiated perspective, especially aimed at atypical mothers. We know they face intense and challenging routines, and therefore we structured service hours in the morning and afternoon shifts, allowing them to participate more comfortably. The program reaffirms Detran's commitment to promoting social inclusion and respect for the different realities of Pará families,” explains Ana Carolina Sampaio.
Detran seeks to promote mobility, autonomy, and social inclusion, recognizing the challenges faced daily by these families. In this special edition, approximately 4,000 women will benefit throughout the state. The initiative aims to expand the program's reach, enabling thousands of women to obtain their first driver's license for free. The goal is to facilitate transportation for daily activities, such as medical appointments, therapies, and school commitments, in addition to contributing to improving the quality of life and independence of these families.
To enroll, the selected candidates must attend the Ciretrans with the following documents (originals and copies): Identity Card or equivalent; CPF; Updated proof of residence (up to 90 days); Declaration or certificate of elementary education (issued by Seduc or equivalent from another state); Negative Criminal Record Certificate from the Civil Police of Pará (valid for up to 90 days) and Medical report of the child(ren), with diagnosis (CID), issued exclusively by a SUS professional.
Detran emphasizes that the medical report presented at the time of enrollment must contain the full name of the patient, the diagnosis with CID, and the date of issuance. The agency also warns that enrollment is a mandatory step that guarantees the start of the habilitation process, including the mandatory exams and the beginning of classes at the Driver Training Center.
