A socioeducanda from the Pará Foundation for Socioeducational Assistance (Fasepa), currently serving a measure at the Women's Semi-freedom Care Center (CASF), was honored by the State School of Fundamental and Secondary Education Feliz Luzitânia, in Icoaraci, a district of Belém, for her high academic performance in her class. The young girl, 15 years old, was elected the best student in her class, standing out for her dedication and discipline in her studies.

The socioeducanda, in a semi-freedom regime at the unit for 2 months, demonstrates significant results in her educational journey. The recognition given by the educational institution reinforces something beyond her individual dedication and shows the continuous work carried out by the socioeducational community that promotes encouragement for education as a decisive factor in achieving social and integral transformation in the socioeducational process.

For the young girl, the award represents an additional motivation in her journey. “It is gratifying to see my effort recognized in this way; I have dedicated myself a lot to my studies and see that this can change my life. The socioeducational team at CASF has helped me a lot; they were the ones who showed me the importance of education for my future,” declared the socioeducanda.

The achievement shows that when there are paths of opportunity and learning, it is possible to pave the way for transformation. Education proves to be a great ally in the socioeducational process, demonstrating to be a powerful tool that assists in the search for a new perspective on life.

The student also states that the habit of reading has become a fundamental ally in this process. “Besides studying, I found refuge in reading. I don’t have a preference for any specific genre, and in a way, this allows me to constantly discover new authors and styles. Reading has helped me improve the quality of my studies and broadened my worldview,” the young girl added.

The recognition of the socioeducanda by the educational institution goes beyond a personal achievement and reveals the importance of the partnership between the education system and socioeducation. This integration strengthens the construction of pathways and shows how education can be an instrument of inclusion and social transformation for young people in socioeducational measures.
