Government presents security plan for Sairé 2025, in Alter do Chão
The major cultural event will take place from September 18 to 22. The expectation is to exceed 250,000 participants, who will have more than 800 agents in security and inspection actions.

The Government of Pará, through the Regional Government Secretariat of Baixo Amazonas, detailed on Monday (8) the security scheme that will be implemented during Sairé 2025, one of the largest cultural manifestations in the State, which will take place from September 18 to 22, in Alter do Chão, a district of Santarém, western Pará. The information was disclosed in a press conference.
The announcement was attended by Colonel Tarcísio, commander of CPR I; Lieutenant Colonel Joselde, commander of the 3rd Battalion; Lieutenant Colonel Carvalho, commander of the 35th Battalion; and Colonel Piquet, from the Military Fire Department, as well as representatives from the Brazilian Navy, Federal Highway Police, Civil Police, Department of Transit (Detran), Civil Defense, and Municipal Transit Secretariat.

Personnel - During the five days of celebration, more than 800 security and inspection agents will operate in Alter do Chão, in a continuous shift scheme - morning, afternoon, and night. The Military Police alone will mobilize about 600 officers, distributed in ostensive patrols and strategic points.
The Civil Police will have a base and on-call service in the district, reinforcing immediate response to incidents. Detran will set up a 24-hour barrier, ensuring permanent traffic inspection. The Brazilian Navy will be responsible for inspecting vessels, ensuring safe navigation during the event.
The regional government secretary of Baixo Amazonas, Nélio Aguiar, emphasized that the integrated planning ensures peace of mind for residents and visitors. "Sairé is the soul of our culture, and the Government of Pará is committed to ensuring a safe celebration. With the work of security agencies and the collaboration of the population, we will experience days of joy and celebration in Alter do Chão without worries," he stated.

Colonel Tarcísio reinforced the commitment of the police forces, stating that "our personnel will be on standby throughout the event, with increased policing at strategic points and ostensive actions, to ensure that the population can enjoy the celebration with peace of mind."
“We will have a permanent base and on-call service in Alter do Chão, ensuring a quick response to demands and more security for all participants of Sairé,” reinforced Delegate Kleidson Castro from the Civil Police.
With this scheme, the Government of Pará reaffirms its commitment to promoting a safe and organized Sairé 2025, valuing the cultural tradition of the Amazon and ensuring peace of mind for the more than 100,000 visitors expected at the grand event.
