Pará participates in the National Forum of Planning Secretaries in São Luís (MA)

The State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad) participates in discussions that promote public management and integration among the States

XCIV National Forum of State Secretaries of Planning and the meetings of the Working Groups (GTs)

The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad), participates in the XCIV National Forum of State Secretaries of Planning and the meetings of the Working Groups (GTs) of the National Council of Secretaries of Planning (Conseplan), held in São Luís, Maranhão. The event runs until this Friday (05).

Representing Seplad, the deputy secretaries and public management analysts from the areas of Planning and Budget, and Special Resource Capture, are part of the discussions aimed at strengthening public management and promoting integration among Brazilian States.

The event discusses topics such as Public Investments; Planning, Budget, and Spending Review; among others

According to Nazaré Nascimento, deputy secretary of Planning and Budget of Seplad, the Forum strengthens federative dialogue and improves public planning practices.

"The Forum is an opportunity to strengthen federative dialogue and enhance public planning practices. For Pará, actively participating in discussions means ensuring that our strategies are aligned with national challenges, while always considering the reality and needs of our population," explains Nazaré.

During the forum, in-person meetings of the GTs of Conseplan took place, with representatives from Pará participating in the groups on Public Investments; Planning, Budget, and Spending Review; Monitoring and Evaluation; Long-Term Planning; in addition to the Communication Commission.

“The integration promoted by Conseplan is essential for strengthening public management. Being present in these debates allows us to expand cooperation among states, share experiences, and seek joint solutions, especially on strategic issues such as public investments and long-term planning,” commented the deputy secretary of Special Resources of Seplad.

The program also includes panels addressing topics such as participatory planning, BRICS and geopolitics, government center, planning careers, and energy transition. One of the highlights is the presentation of the Brazil 2050 Strategy, led by the national secretary of Planning of the Ministry of Planning and Budget (MPO), Virgínia de Ângelis, which deals with the establishment and implementation of the National Long-Term Plan as an instrument for balanced and federative development.

By participating in the event, Pará reinforces its commitment to contributing to the construction of more efficient public policies, based on the exchange of experiences and dialogue among the States.
