This Sunday morning (31) was marked by the traditional Ruralist Cavalcade, one of the most anticipated events of the 26th Xinguara Agricultural Fair (FAX 2025). The event brought together more than two thousand horsemen and attracted around 50 thousand people along the route, according to estimates from the organization.

Governor Helder Barbalho participated in the event, reinforcing the importance of agriculture for the economy of Pará and highlighting the role of Xinguara, recognized as the "Capital of Beef", in the productive landscape of the State.

"The municipality of Xinguara represents the strength of Pará's agriculture, the strength of our State's livestock. Pará has the second largest cattle herd in Brazil and should be very proud of this, of the quality of our production. I am sure that Expofax means this, Expofax is exactly the great union of all this extraordinary experience that we have been experiencing in the rural production of our State. And I congratulate the rural union, the city hall, and the government of Pará, because we are all together to show the power of those who produce, generate jobs, income, and put food on the tables of the people of Pará and Brazilians," said the head of the state executive.

Vice Governor Hana Ghassan also attended the event and emphasized the tradition of the cavalcade and its significance for rural producers in the region.

"It is an honor to be here participating in this wonderful celebration, which represents the culture of our State and the strength of agriculture, one of the pillars of our territory's economy. It is a way to tell the men and women of the field that we are together with you to ensure that this State continues to develop and produce. We have a vocation for production and participating in this beautiful celebration, with the people all in the streets, is to live what we have good in our State of Pará. So congratulations to everyone in Xinguara," commented the vice governor.

Among the authorities present were mayors and former mayors, state and federal deputies, as well as Ministers Jader Filho, from the Ministry of Cities, and Celso Sabino, from the Ministry of Tourism.

The president of the Rural Union of Xinguara, Joel Lobato, highlighted the festive character, but also the business aspect of FAX 2025.

"Thank you very much to the state government, to Governor Helder Barbalho, to Vice Governor Hanna, for all the support they have given to the productive sector and to our festival. Without a doubt, it will be a fair that promotes local commerce, that fosters business in the region. We will have a commercial and industrial showcase here, where the rural productive sector comes to the exhibition park during this period to also do business. It is not just a party, no. It is business too," he stated.

FAX 2025 will continue until September 6, with a program that includes animal exhibitions, business rounds, cultural attractions, and musical shows, consolidating itself as one of the largest agricultural fairs in the southern region of Pará.
