The Intermunicipal Transport Regulation Agency of Pará (Artran) released the balance of inspection operations carried out between January and July 2025 in intermunicipal passenger road transport. The period recorded 6,426 approaches, resulting in 4,664 infraction notices and 54 vehicle seizures, including authorized and clandestine ones.

In the first seven months of the year, 20 authorized vehicles that violated safety regulations and 34 clandestine vehicles, for operating without permission, were removed from circulation. "The result shows Artran's commitment to ensuring safe, organized, and legal trips. Clandestine transport puts passengers' lives at risk and cannot be tolerated," highlighted Artran's General Director, Luciano Dias.

More than 6,000 approaches were made between January and July 2025

The Coordinator of Road Transport (CTR) José Cruz emphasizes that the strategy to increase presence in the main road corridors and terminals of the State strengthens safety in transport. "We are intensifying actions not only to repress irregular transport but also to guide users and companies so that the system operates in an organized and efficient manner," he states.

The Agency's expectation is to maintain the pace of operations in the second half, with reinforcement during periods of higher flow, such as extended holidays. "Our goal is for passengers to travel with peace of mind, knowing that the bus they board has undergone the necessary inspection," guarantees Luciano, the head of the agency.
