On Friday night (29), teams from the Capital Police Command I – 37th Military Police Battalion were called by Ciop to respond to an incident of rivalry involving fans of Clube do Remo and Paysandu, on Avenida José Bonifácio, in the Guamá neighborhood, in Belém.

The turmoil began around 9:30 PM, after mutual provocations between the groups, escalating into an attempt at physical confrontation. Upon arriving at the scene, the units encountered a large crowd and the need for immediate intervention. With the support of five vehicles from the 37th BPM, the dispersal of those involved was carried out and the area was patrolled, which prevented the escalation of violence.

Approximately 40 suspects were taken for questioning, with six main individuals identified as responsible for starting the turmoil.

During the action, a blue Samsung cell phone, registered as lost property, was seized and presented to the police authority along with the involved individual.
Despite the intensity of the turmoil, there were no reports of injuries. The case was forwarded to the Civil Police Station in the São Brás neighborhood. The prompt action of the military police was crucial for the restoration of public order and the prevention of greater damage.

The commander of the 37th BPM, Major Érika, highlighted the efficiency of the action.
"The Military Police acted quickly and firmly to contain the situation, ensuring the safety of the community. Our commitment is to preserve public order and prevent confrontations of this nature from putting the population at risk," said the commander.
