Santa Rosa Hospital promotes humanization actions with cinema and music therapy
Integrative activities reinforce the emotional and social care of patients and companions at the Baixo Tocantins unit

Focusing on comprehensive health care, the Santa Rosa Regional Hospital of Baixo Tocantins, in Abaetetuba, promoted, on August 21 and 22, two actions aimed at the emotional and social well-being of patients: a film screening at Cine Pipoca and a Music Therapy session. The activities are part of the unit's humanization policy, coordinated by the Humanization Commission.
The Cine Pipoca, held on Thursday (21), screened the film "Soul," which addresses themes such as purpose and meaning of life. The session provided a moment of relaxation, lightness, and reflection for patients, highlighting the importance of welcoming environments that favor emotional balance during hospitalization.
On Friday (22), it was Music Therapy's turn to bring interaction, relaxation, and support to patients and companions. The action contributed to strengthening bonds, reducing stress, and reinforcing the humanized dimension of care, which considers not only physical treatment but also the emotional and social aspects involved in the recovery process.

The initiatives are developed by the Diretrizes Institute, responsible for the administration of Santa Rosa Hospital, which focuses on valuing the human being and offering experiences that promote expanded health care.
"Our commitment is to go beyond clinical assistance, offering actions that positively impact the recovery and quality of life of patients," highlighted the unit's team through the Humanization Commission.
