National Salon reveals the cultural and gastronomic diversity of Pará's Amazon
Professionals, public managers, entrepreneurs, and visitors attend the event, whose theme is “Diversity, Inclusion, and Sustainability in Tourism.”

Between August 21 and 23, Pará shone at the National Tourism Salon, held at the Anhembi District in São Paulo. With its own booth, the State presented four experiences that highlighted the diversity of Amazonian attractions and the regional tourism potential, providing the public with a cultural, gastronomic, and artisanal immersion.
The selected experiences were: Market Kitchen, which brought the authenticity of Pará's cuisine to the event; Alter do Chão Recovery – MAD Experience, a reference in sustainable tourism; Pará Birding Tour, focused on birdwatching; and the traditional Marajoara Ceramics from Soure, a cultural heritage that preserves ancestral knowledge from the Marajó archipelago. The booth came even more alive with carimbó performances, led by the Eco Marajoara and Cruzeirinho groups, which attracted visitors at the end of each day.

In addition to the selected experiences, municipalities such as Soure, Bragança, Parauapebas, Ourém, and Curuá were present at the event, showcasing their traditions and products. From Bragança, for example, the highlight was the flour house, while Soure demonstrated live artisanal ceramics. The program also included spontaneous participation from municipalities like Ulianópolis and Xinguara, who circulated around the Pará booth.
The Marketing Coordinator of Setur, Victor Lopes, monitored the activities on-site and highlighted the movement in the space. “In addition to the experiences, some municipalities are participating, such as Soure and Bragança, which are among the biggest highlights of the event. We had cultural presentations at the end of each day, with carimbó groups, and the presence of authorities such as the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, and Vice President, Geraldo Alckmin, reinforces the importance of Pará's participation in this great meeting,” he stated.

Promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, the Salon is considered one of the largest showcases of the sector in the country, bringing together professionals, public managers, entrepreneurs, and visitors around the theme “Diversity, Inclusion, and Sustainability in Tourism.” During the three days, the event offered a wide program with regional spaces, a tourism fair, gastronomy, family farming, musical shows, and business rounds.
