Seduc begins a series of technical visits to regional directorates to align actions

The regional directorate of Marabá received the initiative aimed at bringing management and the school community closer together for continuous improvements in the public education network

With the aim of strengthening public education and bringing state management closer to regional realities, the State Secretary of Education (Seduc) has begun a series of strategic visits to the Regional Directorates of Education (DREs) throughout Pará.

The first agenda took place on Friday, the 22nd, in Marabá, where the State Secretary of Education, Ricardo Sefer, accompanied by the regional director, Magno Barros, met with local staff and managers to hear demands, identify priorities, and align solutions for the advancement of education in the southeastern state.

During the meeting, the DRE of Marabá presented its main needs and challenges for pedagogical and administrative work. Secretary Ricardo Sefer emphasized the importance of this direct contact with each region.

“I committed to visiting all 40 teaching directorates in the State to closely understand the difficulties, engage in dialogue with the staff, and seek solutions. Our mission is to ensure that public education in Pará is always improving, with more quality, structure, and results for our students,” he stated.

The visits to the directorates are being organized with the purpose of bringing management and the school community closer together, enhancing the state's responsiveness, and ensuring continuous improvements for the entire public education network.

On this occasion, the head of Seduc also visited the State High School Walkise da Silveira Vianna, which serves about 1,400 students. The visit allowed for a close look at the unit's structures and reinforced the commitment of the Government of Pará to ensure continuous improvements for the state education network.
