Government of Pará supports the 1st General Assembly of CONFRADESPA in Marabá
Event reinforces dialogue with religious communities and marks the beginning of the convention's activities at the Convention Center

The Government of Pará, through its support for the use of the Convention Center in Marabá, participated this Friday (22) in the opening of the first Ordinary General Assembly of the Interstate Fraternal Convention of Ministers of the Assemblies of God SETA (CONFRADESPA). Governor Helder Barbalho was present at the ceremony and highlighted the importance of the event for strengthening faith and unity among religious leaders.
While participating in the opening of the convention, Governor Helder Barbalho emphasized the significance of the moment for the evangelical community.
“This day is historic for the people of God and the assembly people. I am here to celebrate the birth of this convention that is already born great,” said the head of the state Executive.

The governor also pointed out that holding the assembly in Marabá, with the support of the state government, represents a commitment to values of welcome and dialogue with various segments of society. “Each brother and sister, each pastor and missionary sows and reaps, as Ecclesiastes says: it is time to plant and reap,” he added.
Recognition of religious leadership
During the event, Helder Barbalho honored the president of CONFRADESPA, Pastor Marinaldo Soares, and all the ministers present, highlighting the importance of the pastoral mission in the spiritual life of the people of Pará. “It is a great honor for us, people of Pará, to be able to welcome you. We are together in the purpose of bringing spiritual comfort to the people of our state,” he concluded.

Pastor Marinaldo Soares also thanked the presence of authorities and valued the space provided for the meeting. “Today we have the participation of authorities from the Executive and Legislative branches, and this is very important for all of us,” he declared.
Event continues until Sunday and strengthens connections
The Ordinary General Assembly began on Thursday (21) and continues until Sunday (24), bringing together ministers and representatives of the church in a program focused on spiritual strengthening, communion, and the expansion of CONFRADESPA's actions throughout the country.

The use of the Convention Center as the venue for the first assembly reinforces the integration between the state government and religious organizations, symbolizing a new stage for the convention's activities in Pará and Brazil.
